Credit Operations Analyst

 

OIC is seeking a Credit Operations Analyst to join our Montpelier, VT office. Reporting to the Head of Operations for Obra Capital, this role will support our investment research business by maintaining our credit research platform, managing subscription access, and ensuring seamless operations. The Credit Operations Analyst will also provide administrative support to the Montpelier office, assisting with office management tasks and general operational needs.

BELOW ARE A LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update pricing files, index data, and security-related information databases.

  • Manage access to the Loan Syndicate platform for the research team.

  • Oversee and administer subscription access for the OIC research site.

  • Provide operational support for the loan settlements team.

  • Review and support the daily, monthly and quarterly valuation and reconciliation process

  • Participate in the firm’s cash management & treasury functions, supporting liquidity and collateral management practices

  • Direct incoming calls and inquiries to the appropriate team members.

  • Handle incoming mail and packages, ensuring timely distribution.

  • Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate replenishments as needed.

  • Welcome and assist guests, ensuring a professional and hospitable experience.

  • Support various administrative and ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial operations, investment research, or a related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, or a quantitative discipline.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

  • Understanding of financial markets, credit instruments, and basic accounting principles.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
