Vida Capital Appoints Michael Schaff as Assistant General Counsel & Compliance Director

Austin, TX (September 4, 2018) – Vida Capital, a leading alternative asset manager specializing in insurance-linked strategies, announced today that Michael Schaff will join the firm as Assistant General Counsel and Compliance Director.

Prior to joining Vida, Mr. Schaff served as Assistant General Counsel at Texas Municipal Retirement System (“TMRS”), a $27 billion public pension plan, where he advised primarily on alternative fund investments. Previously, Mr. Schaff focused on transactional support for the Private Equity Group, and on compliance matters for the Corporate Department, at Nippon Life Global Investors Americas, a registered investment adviser in New York City.
